The Central Board of School Education is going to conduct CTET July 2020 on 05 July 2020. The online application process for this has been completed by now. The candidates can download the CTET Admit Card by visiting the official website.
According to NCTE guidelines, it is compulsory to conduct the Teachers Eligibility Test for the recruitment of teachers up to class 8. The RTE-2009 act allows boards to conduct the test at regular intervals. In the same scenario, CBSE conducts CTET twice a year. This time CTET July will be conducted on 05 July 2020 in two shifts. The board has received more than 20 lakh applications this time.
There will be two papers of CTET.
- (i) Paper 1 will be for a person who intends to be a teacher for classes I to V.
- (ii) Paper 2 will be for a person who intends to be a teacher for classes VI to VIII.
The candidates will be allowed to Download CTET Admit Card or e-Call Letter at least 10 days prior to the examination. Here we are providing all important instructions for the candidates who are appearing for the first time.

Exam Scheme and Paper Pattern of CTET
All questions in CTET will be Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), with four alternatives out of which one answer will be most appropriate. Each Question carrying one mark and there will be no negative marking.
Paper 1 and 2, both will carry 150 questions each. The candidates will have 150 minutes to complete the CTET question paper.
CTET Admit Card 2020 (e-Call Letter) Instructions
The CBSE Board will not send the CTET Admit Card 2020 by post to the postal address of the candidates. Therefore, the candidates will have to download the Admit Card online and take a print out on A4 Paper.
The print of the Admit Card should be clear and everything written on it appear properly. If you observe any discrepancy in the printed Admit Card of the CTET exam, then it should be rectified before the commencement of the exam. Thus, the candidates in such cases should contact the Board immediately.
Furthermore, the candidates have to carry a photo ID Card in original and a photocopy, two colored Passport Size photographs while appearing in the exam. If they don’t produce Photo ID and Admit Card at Exam Center, such candidates will not be allowed to appear in the exam.

The applicants can download their CTET July Admit Card by visiting the link available below. They need to enter their Registration Number and password or date of birth to log in and get the Admit Card/ Hall Ticket.
